What people are saying
I would like to offer my full support to Hope 08 in Coventry and specifically to Radio Hope in their application for a full 5-year community radio license in partnership with Cross Rhythms, Stoke on Trent. Councillor Dave Batten, Lord Mayor of Coventry
I recently had the pleasure of being interviewed on Radio Hope during their recent ten days of radio broadcasting in Coventry. The station was able to highlight many of the positive plans, projects and events going on in Coventry that deserved media attention and encompassed a great variety of subjects. There were varied guests, each demonstrating a real desire to improve Coventry.
Radio Hope displayed a professional and responsible attitude to broadcasting and made a great effort to try to meet the needs of a wide ranging audience and a genuine desire to engage and inspire Coventry’s communities through radio.
Steve Glover, the new Chief Superintendent of Little Park Street Police
I was a contributor on the recent RSL in Coventry, Radio Hope and was encouraged by the professionalism and warmth of the production team and the quality of the interview with me about Coventry Cathedral’s plans for Hope 2008. It was clear to me that much thought and effort had been undertaken to strengthen links between churches in Coventry and many of the statutory/voluntary agencies for the benefit of the community.
Coventry Cathedral is a key partner with Hope 2008 in the city and we fully support the plans by CWMC Ltd. for a community radio station designed to serve the city and local communities in a number of positive ways.
Canon Yvonne Richmond, Coventry Cathedral
